I used red seedless grapes in this recipe, but you can sub in cotton candy grapes, moon drop grapes, green grapes, black grapes, flame seedless grapes, wine grapes Thompson seedless grapes, or concord grapes for the table grapes. Basically, any type of these grape varieties will do! I do prefer a seedless variety, though. But when it comes to the grapes themselves, it's the sweetness that makes the Cotton Candy grapes taste so good.
Steps to make Cotton Candy Grapes Parfait:
- Prepare all ingredients you want, expect ice cream.
- Cut grapes in half.
- Put muesli/granola until the bottom is covered.
- Put Greek/strain yogurt 1 scoop or until it becomes a layer.
- Add some honey. Not too much, just about 1/2 tsp.
- Put in order along the glass. Make sure it becomes horizontal.
- Add some whipped cream.
- Using clinging film and break 1 McVitie’s and put the fractions into the glass.
- Add some mascarpone.
- Place some grapes.
- Put some frozen yogurt or ice cream and cover it up with whipped cream.
- Pour honey and sprinkle dark chocolate. Ready to eat!
I do prefer a seedless variety, though. But when it comes to the grapes themselves, it's the sweetness that makes the Cotton Candy grapes taste so good. When Lauren and I make our candy grapes, we have used green grapes. Also, this version of candied grapes is made with just the three ingredients - grapes, Jell-O, and water. They are made without corn syrup (plus sugar and water) that is cooked to make the candy coating of other candied grapes.
